Take the stress out of running and maintaining your compressed air system

The smooth running of a dental practice is not easy, with all the health and safety issues together with all the clinical compliances that are required as a matter of high importance, with heavy fines and possible custodial sentences if ignored.

When the subject of the practice compressed air system arises, it carries with it the same legal requirements such as air qualities, servicing and maintenance, and pressure systems regulations. All of these issues are directly policed by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and the Care Quality Commission inspectorate.

Why would you want the responsibilities of servicing and meeting air quality compliance, when you could enter into a fixed monthly agreement that would automatically take care of all aspects of concern?

The burning question is, why would you want to take on the responsibilities of servicing and meeting air quality compliance, when you could enter into a fixed monthly agreement that would automatically take care of all aspects of concern, relieving you of yet another major concern of running a dental practice? Monthly packages give you the comfort of knowing that all aspects of compliance and HSE are correct to the letter of the law.

Total Air Care

Dentalair Services has developed a completely new system called Total Air Care. This new system includes all aspects of compliance for a fixed monthly cost.

Included in Total Air Care is an on-site survey; installation of a new oil-free compressor (supplying sterile air); air qualities tested to NHS2022/1 and certificated accordingly; a PSSR written scheme, which is a legal requirement a necessity of the British Dental Association’s Good Practice Scheme; annual servicing; and of course in the unlikely event of a mechanical problem, a backup support service.

The small print

The typical weekly costing for a four-chair dental practice is £23.50, which includes VAT. This price includes everything, so all you have to do is switch it on and then get on with your daily practice, knowing that all aspects of the surgery compressed air system is fully compliant and legal. The Dentalair Total Air Care system is based on a five-year contract with a fixed weekly cost throughout the contract. If you register interest in the Total Air Care system, Dentalair will arrange a convenient date to call at the practice to access the installation. The rest is a simple process – Dentalair will install the new machine, commission it, and test and certify the air qualities. Total Air Care is paid by standing order on the first of the month following the installation. And that’s it!
